Where it is used

How we choose between them

Mesh is specified where the membrane has to span a crack or a junction rather than simply cover a surface. Tapes go into every internal corner and around every penetration as standard on wet-area work. These items add a small percentage to a job’s material cost and account for the large majority of its long-term reliability.
