Apex Exterior Emulsion

Product description

Leakproofs by Betterwork specifies and applies Apex Exterior Emulsion as part of a complete waterproofing system. A material on its own does not stop a leak — what stops it is the right material chosen for the right defect, on a surface that has been properly prepared. That is why we deep-scan before we specify.

Where Apex Exterior Emulsion is used

This product is specified for walls.

• General residential exterior repainting
• Society elevations on a controlled budget
• Sheltered and moderately exposed walls
• Boundary and compound walls

Suitable substrates: Plaster, Masonry, Concrete.

How it is applied

Applied over a prepared, primed and crack-treated elevation in the specified coats.

Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
