Product description

Leakproofs by Betterwork specifies and applies Apex Ultima as part of a complete waterproofing system. A material on its own does not stop a leak — what stops it is the right material chosen for the right defect, on a surface that has been properly prepared. Where Apex Ultima is used

This product is specified for walls.

• Residential and society exterior elevations
• Buildings in humid and high-rainfall areas
• Elevations prone to algae and fungal growth
• Finish coat over exterior waterproofing

Suitable substrates: Plaster, Masonry, Concrete.

How it is applied

Applied over a prepared, primed elevation with cracks treated first. Algae resistance is a property of the film, so full coat thickness matters — a thinned coat loses it.

Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
