Product description

Leakproofs by Betterwork specifies and applies Apcolite All Protek as part of a complete waterproofing system. A material on its own does not stop a leak — what stops it is the right material chosen for the right defect, on a surface that has been properly prepared. That is why we deep-scan before we specify.

Where Apcolite All Protek is used

This product is specified for walls.

Suitable substrates: Plaster, Putty.

How it is applied

Applied over a prepared substrate. On high-traffic walls the preparation and coat count matter more than the product tier — a thin two-coat job in a corridor will show wear whatever the tin says.

Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
