Product description

Leakproofs by Betterwork specifies and applies Alldry Total 2K as part of a complete waterproofing system. A material on its own does not stop a leak — what stops it is the right material chosen for the right defect, on a surface that has been properly prepared. That is why we deep-scan before we specify.

Where Alldry Total 2K is used

This product is specified for bathroom, water tanks, basement, terrace.

• Bathroom and wet-area sunk slabs before tiling
• Water tanks and sumps
• Basement walls treated from the inside
• Terraces being screeded or tiled over

Suitable substrates: RCC, Concrete, Plaster, Masonry.

How it is applied

The components are mixed at the specified ratio — not gauged by eye — and applied by brush in coats at right angles, with tape at every corner, junction and penetration. Wet areas are flood-tested before they are filled.

Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
