How it is applied

Used across the suspect area at a consistent distance and angle, with images stored for the inspection report. Timing matters more than technique: there has to be a temperature difference across the structure for anything to show, so surveys are done early morning or after a warm day rather than in the middle of a flat, overcast afternoon.

Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
