Product description

Leakproofs by Betterwork specifies and applies SmartCare Epoxy TriBlock as part of a complete waterproofing system. A material on its own does not stop a leak — what stops it is the right material chosen for the right defect, on a surface that has been properly prepared. Where SmartCare Epoxy TriBlock is used

This product is specified for water tanks.

• Overhead and underground potable water tanks
• RCC sumps and reservoirs
• Society water storage being recoated
• Tanks where a general-purpose coating is not acceptable

Suitable substrates: RCC, Concrete.

How it is applied

Mixed strictly to the supplied ratio and applied to a properly prepared, dry tank interior, then fully cured before the tank is refilled. The scheduling constraint on a society building is usually taking the only tank out of service long enough for a proper cure.

Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
