Ultra Block 2K

Product description

Leakproofs by Betterwork specifies and applies Ultra Block 2K as part of a complete waterproofing system. A material on its own does not stop a leak — what stops it is the right material chosen for the right defect, on a surface that has been properly prepared. That is why we deep-scan before we specify.

Where Ultra Block 2K is used

This product is specified for walls, bathroom, terrace.

• Bathroom and wet-area waterproofing before tiling
• Exterior and interior wall waterproofing
• Terrace waterproofing under a screed or tiles
• Structures where the coating will be permanently covered

Suitable substrates: RCC, Plaster, Masonry, Concrete.

How it is applied

Mixed at the specified ratio and applied in successive coats at right angles, with reinforcing tape at corners, junctions and penetrations, and flood-tested in wet areas before covering.

Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
