Product description

Leakproofs by Betterwork specifies and applies SmartCare Repair Polymer as part of a complete waterproofing system. This product is specified for concrete, cracks, bathroom.

• Modifying repair mortar for crack and joint filling

How it is applied

Gauged into the repair mix at the specified ratio, or brushed on as a bond coat with the new material placed while it is still tacky.

Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
