Dr. Fixit Newcoat is an acrylic elastomeric terrace waterproofing coating for RCC roofs, sitting between the economical and premium ends of the range and covering the majority of ordinary residential terrace work.

How it is applied
Applied over a primed and prepared slab by brush or roller in successive coats, with mesh reinforcement at junctions and over filled cracks. Ponding areas are corrected and outlets re-formed before coating — a coating cannot fix a roof that does not drain.
Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
