Product description
Leakproofs by Betterwork specifies and applies Dr. Fixit PU Sealant as part of a complete waterproofing system. A material on its own does not stop a leak — what stops it is the right material chosen for the right defect, on a surface that has been properly prepared. That is why we deep-scan before we specify.

Suitable substrates: Concrete, RCC, Masonry, Metal.
How it is applied
The joint is cleaned, primed where the substrate requires it, and backer rod fitted to control depth so the sealant can stretch across the joint rather than being bonded on three faces. Gunned in and tooled to a concave finish that keeps it in compression at the edges.
Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
