Dr. Fixit Roofseal Classic is an acrylic waterproof coating for flat RCC terraces and roofs. It is the economical end of the terrace range — well suited to a sound slab with hairline shrinkage cracking, and the wrong choice on a slab that opens wide cracks every summer.

How it is applied
Applied by brush or roller over a primed, cleaned and crack-treated slab, in the number of coats and at the interval given in the data sheet. Coats are applied in alternate directions so the film builds evenly, and reinforcing mesh is worked into junctions and treated cracks before the final coat.
Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
