Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo is the elastomeric grade for building exteriors — specified where the elevation is not just porous but actively cracking, so the coating has to stretch across movement rather than simply resist water.

Where Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo is used

This product is specified for walls, cracks.

• Structures on expansive soils showing movement cracks

Suitable substrates: Plaster, Masonry, Concrete.

How it is applied

Applied over prepared, crack-treated and primed plaster, with reinforcing mesh worked in over wider treated cracks before the final coat. Built film thickness governs the elongation, so coverage is checked against the data sheet rather than spread to make the material last.

Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
