Dr. Fixit Micro Concrete is a flowable, shrinkage-compensated concrete for structural repairs too deep to patch by hand. It is poured into formwork rather than trowelled on, which is what lets it fill fully around congested reinforcement.

Product description
Leakproofs by Betterwork specifies and applies Dr. Fixit Micro Concrete as part of a complete waterproofing system. A material on its own does not stop a leak — what stops it is the right material chosen for the right defect, on a surface that has been properly prepared. That is why we deep-scan before we specify.

How it is applied
Shuttering is fixed around the cut-back area and the mix is poured or pumped in, filling from the lowest point so air is displaced upward. Exposed reinforcement is cleaned and treated first. Curing is not optional on a structural repair and is carried out for the full period the data sheet specifies.
Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
