Dr. Fixit Repair Mortar

Dr. Fixit Repair Mortar is the general-purpose repair compound in the range, used for making good concrete and masonry where the repair is neither structurally critical nor especially deep.

Where Dr. Fixit Repair Mortar is used

This product is specified for concrete, walls.

• General making good on concrete and masonry
• Reinstating surfaces after service chasing
• Filling defects ahead of a coating or plaster system
• Non-critical repairs on walls, plinths and boundary structures

Suitable substrates: Concrete, RCC, Masonry.

How it is applied

Mixed to the specified consistency and applied to a clean, sound, dampened substrate, generally over a bonding coat, in layers within the permitted thickness. Cured for the specified period rather than left to dry in the sun.

Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
