Dr. Fixit Epoxy Grout

Dr. Fixit Epoxy Grout is a non-porous, chemical-resistant grout for swimming pools, showers and any tiled surface in continuous water contact — the situations where a cementitious grout is the weak point in an otherwise sound waterproofing system.

This product is specified for tiling, swimming pools, bathroom, kitchen.

How it is applied

Mixed strictly to the supplied ratio and worked into the joints, with excess removed promptly — epoxy grout is far less forgiving than cementitious grout about being cleaned off after it has begun to set. Work is planned in smaller areas so cleaning keeps pace with grouting.

Preparation is the part that decides whether the system lasts. Loose material and failed old coatings are removed, cracks are cut and filled, and the surface is cleaned and brought to the moisture condition the product requires before anything is applied. Skipping that stage is the single most common reason waterproofing fails in its first season, whichever brand is on the tin.
